BE THERE, ENJOY GOURMET BBQ AND SUPPORT THE LPRC!! Free for members, $25 entry fee for guests (will work deals for younger kids) with T-Hunt, door prizes, etc. BBQ Lunch served at around 1:15PM and after, with door prize drawings as lunch winds down, and activities after. Read MoreMAJOR WINTER STORM EXTENDED/PREVENTS TRAVEL We had previously rescheduled our WInter 2023 LPRC Breakfast for this Saturday, Feb 25, on expectations that this week’s winter storm activity would abate by tomorrow as predicted at that time. However, things have now changed, and the weather folks are now warning of dangerous winter conditions over the Sierras with the worst of it from this evening through early Saturday morning as noted in the latest Winter Storm advisory pasted below. There’s also news of additional atmospheric river winter storms affecting SoCal mountains and the Central Coast tomorrow through Saturday as well, so I expect folks in high places such as Loma in the Bay Area will see impact as well. Given the current dangers of traveling over the Sierra summit today or tomorrow, I need to cancel our Breakfast scheduled for Saturday Feb 25 at 10AM with plans to reschedule it for a more favorable date in March.
